1. 67% of academic staff and 83% of non academic staff have not benefited from staff development programme.
2. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space and not well furnished.
3. Computers in the language laboratory are not engraved.
4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The university should encourage both academic and non academic staff to benefit from staff development programme.
2. Standard offices should be provided for academic staff.
3. Computers in the language laboratory should be engraved.
4.The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.60%. It scored 33 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
