1. The number of books on Computer Engineering are slightly inadequate.

2. The number of software are slightly inadequate.

 

1. There is a need for the university to purchase more books on Computer Engineering as the department grows.
2. There is a need for additional modules such as; FPGA- Field-Programmable Gate Array, CPLD- Complex Programmable Logic Device and VHDL-VHSIC Hardware Description Language, Very High -Speed Integrated Circuit.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.08%. It scored 31 (94%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 23 (85%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
