1. There is only two innovative course for the programme 2. Marking scheme are not well developed, the grading of continuous assessment, and examination are not consistent. 3. External examiners system does not exist. 4. Internal quality assurance system exist but not effective. 5. 30% of the academic staff have not benefited from Staff Development programme. 6. 36% of academic staff have no Ph.D degree. 7. Equipment such as homogenizer high performance liquid chromatography. 8. The professorial office is inadequate in space. 9. Holdings for books and journals is inadequate in numbers and coverage. 10. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The university should ensure that more innovative courses is introduce in line with CCMAS.

The total score for the programme is 67.48%. It scored 22 (62.86%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 17 (62.96%) in Physical Facilities, 11 (61.11%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
