1.The non academic staff were inadequate in number 2.Only 37.03% of academic staff have benefited from the staff development programme. 3.None of the non-academic staff benefited from staff development programme 4.The laboratory though adequate in space is not well equipped. 5.The classrooms are not adequate in space and there is no lecture theatre, and the classrooms are not well maintained as broken chairs and tables were littered all over the classes. 6.Most of the staff offices are inadequate in space and also ill equipped and equipment like cabinet, book shelves, white boards, executive tables and chairs, air conditioners, television were not provided for the professors. Toilet facilities were not also not provided. 7.The available books and journal in the library are current, however they are not adequate in number and coverage. No active subscription to data base as e-subscription and hot spot could not be accessed. 8.Funding for the programme is inadequate and poorly funded.

1.The University should ensure that quite a number of non-academic staff were hired. 2.The University should ensure that more number of academic staff benefits from staff development. 3.The University should encourage non academic staff to be part of staff development programme 4.The University should ensure that modern tables and chairs, air conditioners, television, refrigerator should be purchased and installed in the laboratory. The plastic chairs and tables should be done away with. 5.The University ensure that the adequate spaces needed for the classrooms are provided and well maintained. The public address system should also be acquired for the programme. 6.The University should furnish the staff offices to be more conducive and convenient for staff especially professor’s offices which should be adorned with modern equipment. 7.The university is encouraged to ensure that more current textbooks and journals are provided for the students. There should be active subscription for the use of both students and staff. 8. The programme should be adequately funded and more funds made available for running the programme.

The total score for the programme is 67.20%. It scored 30 (81.08%) in Academic Matters, 27 (77%) in Staffing, 14 (51.85%) in Physical Facilities, 10 (55.56%) in Library. The programme scored 0 (0.00%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
