The laboratory for the programme does not have the following equipment specified in the BMAS such as HPLC, Anaerobic incubator, cold incubator, 70 degree freezer, dark field microscope and phase contrast microscope. 4. 1. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the staff development programme. 2. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from the staff development programme 3. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme in line with BMAS 4. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 91.2%. It scored 37 (97.3%) in Academic Matters, 35 (94.3%) in Staffing, 27 (92.0%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (88.9%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
