1. 30.8% of the teaching staff are not core to the subject area.

2. 47.2% of the teaching staff do not have the Ph.D. degree.

3. Professorial offices lack in built toilets facilities and televisions.

 

1. The university should ensure a proportion of at least 75% of teaching staff need for the programme.
2. The university should ensure all teaching staff obtain the Ph.D. degree.

3. The university should ensure standard and well-equipped offices for professors.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.80%. It scored 36 (97.30%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
