1. The Accounting laboratory is not fully equipped with current and robust data analytics software.
2. 56% of teaching staff have PhD.
3. Library holdings are not very current and inadequate in number and coverage.

 

1. The university should ensure more robust and current analytics software including SAGE 50 are installed in the Accounting Laboratory for practical work.
2. The university should ensure all teaching staff have PhD.
3. Library holdings should be very current and adequate in number and coverage.

 

The total score for the programme is 85.12%. It scored 28 (85%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (89%) in Staffing, 24 (89%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 2 (67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
