1. The software laboratory is slightly inadequate in size.
2. The number of computers in the software laboratory is inadequate.

3. Multimedia facilities such as the Public Address system are unavailable in most classrooms and lecture theatres.
4. Functional air conditioning and bookshelves are unavailable in some staff offices.
5. Fire extinguishers are unavailable in most classroom areas.

 

1. The University should provide a bigger space than it currently has.
2. About 70 more computers should be provided for the software laboratory.
3. Multimedia facilities should be provided for the lecture theatres.
4. Functional air conditioning and bookshelves should be available in staff offices.
5. Fire extinguishers should be made available in the classroom environment.

 

The total score for the programme is 91%. It scored 35 (95%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 19 (70%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
