1. The grading of the students’ coursework, continous assessment, examination scripts and projects was not consistent. 2. 85.7% of the non-teaching staff did not benefit from the staff development scheme. 3. Some of the office accommodation for staff are not well equipped. As there are no bookshelves, file cabinets, air conditioners, etc 4. The toilet facilities are not well maintained. 5. The sanitary condition of the teaching environment was poor. 6. Funding for the programme was inadequate.

1. The university should ensure that the marking scheme is detailed, clear and concise having assessment criteria, standards and weightings. 2. The university should ensure that all its non-teaching staff benefit from the staff development scheme. 3. The university should ensure that all the offices are equipped with bookshelves, file cabinets, air conditioners, etc 4. The university should ensure that its toilet facilities are well maintained. 5. The university should ensure that the sanitary condition of the teaching environment is improved upon. 6. The university should ensure that funding is provided for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 88.80%. It scored 35 (94.59%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
