1. Practicals conducted did not cover the entire curriculum.

2. 86% of non-academic staff have not benefited from the Staff
Development Programme.

3. 37% of the academic staff have not benefited from the Staff
Development Programme.

4. There is no Preparatory Room in the Laboratories

 

1. Practicals should cover the entire curriculum.

2. The University should sponsor non-academic staff to workshops,
seminars, training and conferences.

3. The University should encourage all academic staff to benefit from
the Staff Development Programme.

4. The University should make provision for Preparatory Room in the
Laboratories

 

The total score for the programme is 84.80%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 30 (86%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
