The ratio of teaching staff core to the programme, provided for only 70.58 % of the teaching staff need. 3. 50% of academic staff do not have PhD. degree programme. 4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 2. The University should ensure that the ratio of teaching staff core to the subject area provides for 75% or more of the teaching. 3. The University should ensure that all academic staff have PhD degree programme. 4. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 91.20%. It scored 37 (100.00%) in Academic Matters, 26 (74.29%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
