1. Tests and examination do not cover the curriculum.

2. Practical work do not cover the curriculum.

3. White boards are old and dilapidated.

4. Students demonstrated average level of hard and soft skills relevant for the programme.

5. Digital universal testing machine, and Ultrasonic palse velocity tester are not available.

 

1. The university should ensure that lecturers tests students from all the topics of the programme.
2. The university should ensure that the curriculum is adequately covered as it relates to practical work.
3. The university should ensure that all teaching materials are procured and old ones replaced.

4. The university should ensure students demonstrates very good level of hard and soft skills relevant for the programme.
5. All important equipment’s relevant for the programme should be procured.

 

The total score for the programme is 87.82%. It scored 26 (78.79%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50.00%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
