1. 30% of the academic staff are not core to the subject area of the programme.
2. Office accommodation is inadequate in space.

 

1. The university should strive to have at least 75% of the academic staff core to the subject area of the programme.
2. Standard office accommodation should be provided to all academic staff of the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.60%. It scored 33 (89.19%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50.00%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
