1. No evidence of Academic and non-teaching staff development.

2. The Equipment in the casting room are not fully installed for use.

3. Staff offices adequate in space but ill-equipped.

4. Holdings are inadequate in number and coverage.
5. Funding to the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure staff development to enhance productivity and quality education delivery.
2. The Equipment in the casting room should be fully installed for the use of the programme
3. The University should procure furniture and other basic equipment for the staff offices.
4. More holdings should be procure for the programme.
5. More fund should be committed to address some of the needs of the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 81.60%. It scored 35.5 (95.95%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74.29%) in Staffing, 20.5 (75.93%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
