1. Departmental handbook does not contain penalties for examination malpractice. 2. Less than 60% (58%) of academic staff of the programme have a Ph.D. degree. 4. No non-teaching staff have benefited from the universities staff development programme. 5. More equipment lying (large format printer, jacquard machine and embroidery machine) idle need to be installed need to be installed; 7. The Library holdings is not current at all for both recommended texts and journals; 8. Funding for the programme is inadequate. 9. Tracer system not very effective.

The total score for the programme is 88.21%. It scored 34 (97.14%) in Academic Matters, 28.5 (81%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
