1. some of the following equipment are not available in the equipment
2. there are no dedicated classrooms for the programme
3. the programme needs one additional mobile overhead projector and
two projector screen for the overhead projector
4. the staff offices needs filing cabinets and book shelves
5. the books and holdings for the programme are inadequate in
coverage and currency
6. the courses; a) SVG 317 (Potential Theory and Spherical Harmonics) is
presently elective course b) SVG 513 (Mathematical Geology) is a
duplication

 

1. the school should ensure to provide the following;
a. 1 DGPS receiver
b. 1 stand-alone EDM
C. 1 additional drone
d. AI and AO plotters and scanners
2. the school should ensure to provide dedicated classroom for the
programme
3. the school should ensure to provide one additional mobile overhead
projector and two projector screens for the overhead projectors
4. the school should ensure to make filling cabinet and book shelves
5. the school should ensure to purchase more books in coverage and
current to the programme
6. the school management should ensure that SVG 317 (Potential
Theory and Spherical Harmonics) be made a compulsory course and
SVG 513 be removed to avoid duplication of courses
programme

 

The total score for the programme is 80.67%. It scored 31 (93.94%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
