1. tests and examinations are not of good standard
2. Quality assurance seem to exist only in the school management
3. there are not enough senior lecturer
4. the store for the equipment is not well secured
5. the programme need 3 more spirit leveling equipment
6. the larger classroom do not have overhead projectors and a good
public address system
7. the programme needs funding.

 

1. Tests and examinations should be developed to be of quality
standard
2 Internal quality assurance mechanism should be in place in every
department
3. the university management should ensure to employ senior
lecturers
4. there is need for the school management to ensure the equipment
store is well secured and there should be shelves to store the
equipment properly
5. the school management should ensure to provide 2 more stations
and 3 more spirit leveling equipment
6. the school management should provide overhead projectors and a
good public address system
7. the school should improve on the funding of the programme
Equipment

 

The total score for the programme is 84%. It scored 28 (85%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74%) in Staffing, 24 (89%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
