1.The Staff mix by rank of 20: 37.5: 41 is consistent with NUC guidelines in only one category.

2. Only 66.7% of staff have benefitted from the staff development programme.

3. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

4. Evidence of research and collaborations are inadequate in number.

 

1. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 for the programme.

2. The University should ensure that all staff benefit from staff development programme.

3. The program should be adequately funded.

4. The University should engage in more research and collaborations.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.8%. It scored 32 (96.97%)  in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
