REMEDIES

1. Marking schemes were not well developed and consists of block marking
2. 60% of non-teaching staff benefitted from staff development in the last three years
3. Relevant physical books are not adequate for the programme
4. Funding is not adequate for the programme

 

1. Marking schemes should be properly developed and contain even
distribution of marks
2. All non-teaching staff should benefit regularly from staff development
3. More copies of books such as Lenninger, Harpers and Strayers should
be provided for the programme
4. Adequate funding should be provided for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 94.40%. It scored 35 (94.59%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
