1. Courses like database system, Internet Technology and Communication network were omitted into the curriculum. 2. The tests and examinations did not cover the curriculum for cybersecurity as they were taken as Computer Based Test at the 100 level. 3. The practical work for the level assessed was not adequate to cover the curriculum for the entire programme. 4. Students demonstrated limited knowledge in courses related to cybersecurity. 5. 33.33% of the academic staff are not core to the cybersecurity programme. 6. 50% of the non-teaching staff did not benefit from the staff development scheme. 7. There were no signal/packet analyser, firewalls, security server, secure switches etc in the cybersecurity and digital forensics laboratories. 8. There were no projectors and public address systems in the lecture theatres/rooms. 9. Funding was inadequate. 10. There was no evidence of international research and collaboration.

1. The university should ensure that courses like database systems, Internet technology, are incorporated into the curriculum. 2. The university should ensure that the tests and examinations dcover the curriculum for cybersecurity across all levels. 3. The university should ensure that practical work are carried out accross all levels. 4. The university should ensure that its its students take all the courses needed to earn a degree in cybersecurity. 5. The university should ensure that all its staff are core to the cybersecurityprogramme. 6. The university should ensure that all its staff benefit from the staff development scheme. 7. The university should ensure that funding is provided to enable it provide more training kits, staff development etc. 10. The university should ensure that its staff and students engage in international research and collaboration.

The total score for the programme is 76.89%. It scored 24.5 (74.24%) in Academic Matters, 31.5 (90.00%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50.00%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
