REMEDIES

1. Courses like database system, Internet Technology and Communication network were omitted into the curriculum.

2. The tests and examinations did not cover the curriculum for cybersecurity as they were taken as Computer Based Test at the 100 level.

3. The practical work for the level assessed was not adequate to cover the curriculum for the entire programme.

4. Students demonstrated limited knowledge in courses related to cybersecurity.

5. 33.33% of the academic staff are not core to the cybersecurity programme.

6. 50% of the non-teaching staff did not benefit from the staff development scheme.

7. There were no signal/packet analyser, firewalls, security server, secure switches etc in the cybersecurity and digital forensics laboratories.

8. There were no projectors and public address systems in the lecture theatres/rooms.

9. Funding was inadequate.

10. There was no evidence of international research and collaboration.
