1. 33.3% of the academic staff have not benefitted from Staff Development Programme.

2. Some of the classrooms lacks fans.
3. Some academic staff offices are not furnished with filing cabinets and fans
4. Physical library books are inadequate in number.

 

1.The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from Staff Development Programme.
2. The University should ensure that fans are installed in the classrooms.
3. Academic staff offices should be adequately furnished.
4. More current books should be procured for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.26%. It scored 27 (96.43%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 12 (75.00%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
