– Inadequate number of species of animals in the Teaching and Research Farms;
– Academic staff mix is top heavy that is there more Staff on the professorial cadre for the program

 

– The university should acquire more species of animals in the Teaching and Research Farms;
– Employ more academic staff of lower cadre to ensure mentorship and continuity of the program

 

The total score for the programme is 91.46%. It scored 34.34 (92.81%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (96%) in Staffing, 23.66 (87.63%) in Physical Facilities, 16.33 (90.72%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
