1.Marking scheme for grading projects, continuous assessment, course work and examination scripts are not consistent
2.Students’ final year projects are not of good quality
3.The number of non-teaching staff is not adequate
4.The staff/student ratio of 1:25 does not meet the BMAS
5.37% of the academic staff have not benefited from the staff development programme
6. The classroom and lecture theater are not well maintained
7. Books and journals are inadequate

4.The University should ensure a staff/student ratio of 1:15
5. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from staff development programme

The total score for the programme is 82.01%. It scored 31.84 (86.05%)  in Academic Matters, 29.67 (85%) in Staffing, 19.33 (71.59%) in Physical Facilities, 14.67 (81.50%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
