1. The quality assurance mechanism is not effective as there are no evidence of meetings,

buckets were not provided.

5. Physical library books and Journals are inadequate in
number.

6. There is no multidisciplinary approach to research among
the department.

 

1. The University should ensure that the internal quality
assurance unit is effective to impact on the programme.

2. The Universities should ensure that mirrors are installed in the walls of the dance studio for the programme.

3. Furniture items in the classrooms should be well
maintained.

4. The University should ensure that functional fire
extinguishers and sand buckets are provided at strategic
locations for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 93.60%. It scored 36 (97.30%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
