1. 37% of the teaching staff and 67% of the non-teaching staff did not
benefit from staff development programme
2. Classrooms equipment are not well-maintained.
3. Staff Offices is inadequate in space.
4. No Campus Hotspot and Intranet

 

1. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme
2. Adequate number of well-maintained classrooms should be provided for the programme.
3. Standard and adequately furnished academic staff offices should be provided for the programme.
4. The University should provide access to e-resources through internet, Library website, Campus Hotspots and Intranet.

 

The total score for the programme is 86.40%. It scored 28 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (89%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 13.5 (75.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
