1. There are less than four (4) innovative courses in the curriculum. Fundamentals of Non-Interests, Industrial Experience and Practice of Banking are the only innovative courses in the curriculum. 2. The proportion of staff core to the subject area provides for only 63% of the teaching staff need. 3. 50% the non-academic staff have not benefited from the Staff Development Programme. 4. Laboratory is inadequate in space. 5. Number of restrooms for staff and students is inadequate. 6. Funding for the programme is inadequate

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses in the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure that at least 75% of the teaching staff is core to the subject area. 3. The university should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme. 4. Adequate laboratory space should be provided for the programme. 5. Adequate number of restrooms should be provided for staff and students in the programme. 6. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 88.80%. It scored 34 (91.89%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
