1. Practical work is not good quality.
2. Only 27% of academic staff benefited from the staff development programme.
3. Some computers are obsolete, licensed softwares are not available in the software laboratory.
4. Equipment and furniture in the classrooms are not well maintained.

 

1. The University should ensure that practical work is of good quality.
2. The University should encourage all academic staff should benefit from the staff development programme.
3. Modern computers and software should be provided for programme.
4. Classrooms should be well maintained.

 

The total score for the programme is 77.60%. It scored 28 (75.68%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
