1. The referencing style in the degree projects are not consistent and uniform. 2. The students showed limited capacity in demonstrating their exposure to certain soft skills like negotiation in line with international best practices. 3. The actual staff mix by rank of 25:37.5:37.5 is consistent with the NUC guidelines of 20:35:45 only in the Senior Lecturer category. 4. Only 37.5% of the academic staff in programme do not have Ph.D degree. 5. The only one non-teaching staff for the programme is inadequate. 6. The only available non-teaching staff had not benefitted from the university’s staff development scheme. 7. There were no charts, globes, maps, as and info-graphics in the resource room provided for the programme. 8. Most of the staff offices were not well equipped with Television sets, refrigerators, bookshelves and some of the professorial offices lacked en-suite conveniences. 9. The available journals sighted in the physical holdings for the programmes were outdated as they were dated 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018 respectively. 10. Funding for the programme was inadequate. 11. There was no tracer system or employers rating provided for the programme.

1. The university should ensure that the degree projects are well supervised to ensure consistency and uniformity in referencing style. 2. The university should ensure that real life political debates and negotiations are simulated regularly to enhance the soft skills of the students in line with international best practices. 3. The university should ensure that the actual staff mix by rank of the programme is consistent with the NUC guidelines of 20:35:45 only in all categories. 4. The university should ensure that all the academic staff for the programme have Ph.D. 5. The university should ensure that more non-teaching staff is recruited in addition to the one teaching staff available. 6. The university should ensure that all its non-teaching staff benefit from its staff development scheme. 7. The university should ensure that charts, globes, maps and info-graphics are provided in the resource room for the programme. 8. The university should ensure that Television sets, refrigerators, bookshelves are provided for most of the staff offices and professorial offices are provided en-suite conveniences. 9. The university should ensure that it procures more recent journals for its physical holdings. 10. The university should ensure that adequate funding is provided for the programme in order to enable it procure the necessary resources required for the programme. 11. The university should ensure that it keeps tabs on its graduates so as to track their performance outside its walls.

The total score for the programme is 82.40%. It scored 35 (94.59%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
