2. All non-teaching staff have not benefited from the staff Development Programmes.
3. Physical library holdings are inadequate in number and currency.
4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The university should ensure that all teaching staff benefit from staff Development Programme.
2. The university should ensure that all non-teaching staff benefit from staff Development Programme.
3. The university should provide more current books for the programme.
4. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 84.30%. It scored 29 (87.88%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
