The number of laboratory technologist is inadequate for the available three laboratories for the programme 37% of the teaching staff have not benefited from the staff development programme 75% of non-teaching staff have not benefited from from the staff development programme Some laboratory equipment such as Complete body monitor and digital weighing scales Office accommodation of senior lectures and below are not adequate in space, not well ventilated and not well equipment with cabinets, chairs and white boards Funding is inadequate for the programme

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 36 (97.30%) in Academic Matters, 30 (85%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
