1. The curriculum contains no innovative courses. 2. 43.7% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. Degree. 3. The laboratory does not have the following essential equipment specified in the NUC CCMAS: Refractrometer, Clevenger apparatus, polarimeter and rotary evaporator.

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load. 2. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D Degree. 3. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme in line with the NUC CCMAS.

The total score for the programme is 81.30%. It scored 25.5 (72.86%) in Academic Matters, 29.5 (84.29%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
