1. Computer Construction course is omitted from the curriculum.

2. All the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from the Staff
Development Programme.

3. Academic staff offices are not well equipped with bookshelves and file
cabinets.

4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

5. The is no multidisciplinary approach to research in the programme.

 

1. The curriculum should be reviewed inline with NUC BMAS/CCMAS to
include the omitted courses.

2. The University should ensure that all staff benefit from the Staff
Development Programme.

3. Standard and well Equipped academic staff offices should be provided
for the programme.

4. The programme should be adequately funded.

5. The University should ensure that there is multidisciplinary approach
to research in the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.43%. It scored 31 (93.94%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.0%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the total score of less than 60%, the Panel recommended  DENIED accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  DENIED accreditation status for the Programme
