The students practical work conducted was not properly documented as there were no students manuals and logbooks sighted

36% of the teaching staff have not benefited from the staff development

Funding is inadequate for the programme

 

The University should ensure that students manual/logbooks are provided for the students to enhance proper documentation practical workdone and in addition, establish a vocational center for the programme.
The University should ensure that all the non-teaching staff benefit from the staff development programme

The programme should be adequately fundedq

 

The total score for the programme is 93.28%. It scored 29 (87.88%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
