1. Only 50% of the academic and less than 50% non-academic staff have benefitted from the Staff Development Programme.
2. Physical library journals are inadequate in number and currency.

 

1. The University should ensure that all academic and non-academic staff benefitted from the Staff Development Programme.

2. More current journals should be procured for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.80%. It scored 35.5 (95.95%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2.5 (83.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
