1. Students did not demonstrate good level of hard and soft skills relevant to the programme.

2. Only 60 % of the academic staff benefited from the Staff Development Programme.

3. Below 50% of the non-academic staff benefited from staff development programme.

4. Equipment for the programme is adequate but not well maintained.

5. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space and not well furnished.

6. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure to provide adequate training in hard and soft skills relevant to the programme.

2. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

3.The University should ensure that all non- academic staff benefited from the Staff Development Programme.

4. The university should ensure to adequately maintain all the equipment available for the programme

5. Standard and adequately furnished academic staff offices should be provided for the programme.

6. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 81.60%. It scored 33.5 (90.54%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88%) in Staffing, 21.5 (79.63%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
