1. The Philosophy and Objectives of the programme are not well articulated. 2. 42.1% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. degree. 3. All of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from the staff development programme in the last three years. 4. Agricultural Extension studio and econometric resource center are not available for the programme. 5. Furniture items in classrooms are broken. 6. Academic staff offices are not furnished with bookshelves and in some cases filing cabinets. 7. Physical Library books and journals are inadequate in number and currency. 8. Funding is inadequate for the programme. 9. There is no evidence of research and collaboration in the programme.

1. Philosophy and Objectives should be well articulated in line with those stated in NUC CCMAS 2. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D. degree. 3. The University should ensure that all staff benefit from staff development programme. 4. A standard and well equipped Agricultural extension studio and econometric resource center should be provided for the programme. 5. Furniture items in classroom(s) and lecture theatres should be well maintained. 6. Adequate number of well-furnished offices should be provided for the academic staff of the programme. 7. The total score for the programme is 81.54%. It scored 34 (97.14%) in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 20.3 (75.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
