1.Practicals conducted did not cover the curriculum.
2.Additional equipment needed for effective of the programme is two(2) simulators and software in the area of aviation and maritime.
3.Staff offices are inadequate in space for lower level lectures
4.Funding is inadequate.

 

1. The department should ensure that the practical work covers the curriculum.
2.The university mamagement should procure more additional equipment needed.
3.The university should provide adequate staff offices for lower level lectures.
4.The university should provide adequate funds to the department.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.24%. It scored 30 (91%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 21 (78%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
