REMEDIES

1. The programme has only three innovative courses.

2. Some degree projects topics are not finance related in terms of their area and coverage, and some of the projects had typographical errors.

3. The fire extinguishers were on the floor and not properly placed.

4. Alternative power supply such as inverters are not functional.

5. Classrooms space in small and inadequate.

6. The convenience are dirty and unkempt.
7. funding is inadequate for the programme.

 

1. The programme should include at least four innovative courses without exceeding the minimum credit load.
2. Student projects should be properly supervised.

3. All fire extinguishers should be properly hung and placed in strategic locations around the computer laboratory, classrooms and library.

4. Functional alternative power source should be provided for the programme.
5. Spacious classrooms should be provided for the programme.
6. All conveniences should be properly cleaned and functional.
7. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 87.08%. It scored 29 (90.63%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97.14%) in Staffing, 19.5 (72.22%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
