REMEDIES

1. Staff mix by rank of 23:28:49 does not meet the NUC approved
guidelines in two categories.

2. 95.6% of the academic staff and none of the non-academic staff
have not benefited from Staff Development Programme.

3. Available fire extinguishers are not functional and sand buckets
were not provided.

4. Internet Hotspots are only available within the library complex.

 

1. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line
with the NUC approved guideline.

2. The University should ensure that all academic and non-academic
staff benefit from staff Development Programme.

3. The University should ensure that functional fire extinguishers and
sand buckets are provided at strategic locations for the
programme.

4. Internet Hotsopts should beextended to other parts of the campus
for ease of access to e-resources in the library.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.60%. It scored 37 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
