1. Marking guides are not well developed. The grading of projects, continuous assessment, course work and exam scripts are not consistent
2. 75% of the non- academic staff have not benefited from Staff Development Programme
3. The physical holdings are of good quality but not adequate in number

 

1. Marking scheme should be well structured and marks should be allotted to each question in the question paper
2.The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from Staff Development Programme
3, More current books and journals should be procured for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.60%. It scored 34.5 (93%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
