1. The curriculum contains less than 4 innovative courses 2. Students degree projects are not well supervised as the projects have typographical errors. 3. The students practical work conducted did not cover all the scope of the programme as there is need to increase more practical hours to conduct more experiment for the students. 4. 33.3% of academic staff have not benefited from the Staff Development Programme. 5. The laboratory equipment are archaic especially the electronic modules. 6. The Classrooms were not well maintained and do not have teaching aids like smart boards, projectors and white boards 7. Academic staff offices are not well furnished with filing cabinets, Air conditioners and bookshelves 8. Physical library books and journals are inadequate in number, currency and coverage. 9. The slow internet connectivity impedes access to e-book and journals by students and staff of the programme. 10. Funding for the programme is inadequate. 11. Research and collaboration does not exist

1. The university should ensure that the timing for all questions are properly followed to allow students have adequate time for questions. 2. The University should ensure that all student’s project are well supervised. 3. The University should ensure that more practical work are conducted to cover all the scope of the programme. 4. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines 5. The University should ensure that all staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme. 6. The University should provide a modern laboratory with state of the art laboratory equipment. 7. The University should ensure all classrooms have teaching aids and fans installed. 9. More internet bandwidth should be provided in the e-library and also more campus hotspots for fast accessibility to books and journals. 10. The programme should be adequately funded. 11. Research and collaboration with multidisciplinary approach be engaged

The total score for the programme is 83.60%. It scored 34 (91.89%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 22.5 (83.33%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
