1.None of the non-Academic staff have benefited from the Staff Development of the University in the past three years.
2. The academic staff offices are inadequate in space.
3. Books in the physical library are inadequate in currency.
4. Access to e-resources is slow as there is internet connectivity challenge.
5. The programme is not adequately funded.

 

1. The University should ensure that all the non-academic staff
benefit from the Staff Development Programme of the University.
2. Standard (spacious) academic staff offices should be provided for the programme
3. More current and relevant books should be procured for the programme.
4. The bandwidth should be increase to facilitate speedy access to e-resources.
5. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.74%. It scored 32 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 14 (87.50%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
