1. 33.3% of academic staff and 66.7% of non-teaching staff have not benefited from staff development programme.

2. Library books and journals are inadequate in currency.

3. Access to available e-books and e-journals for staff and student is available only to campus hotspots and intranet.

4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure that all academic staff and non-teaching staff benefit from the staff development programme.

2. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme.
3. The University should provide more access to available e-books and e-journals to internet and library website.

4. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 86.32%. It scored 34.6 (93.51%)  in Academic Matters, 30.8 (88.00%) in Staffing, 22.2 (82.22%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 1.8 (60.00%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
