1. 40% of the Academic staff do not have P.hD degree. 2. Inadequate water supply in the laboratory. 3. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space. 4. Library journals are not current . 5. Tracer system and employers rating are not adequate. 6. Funding is inadequate for the programme.

1. All Academic staff should be encouraged to obtain P.hD degree. 2. Water system in the laboratory should be improved upon. 3. Spacious Academic staff offices should be provided for the programme. 4. Current journals should be procured for the programme. 5. Tracer system and employers rating should be improved upon. 6. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 91.20%. It scored 34.5 (93.24%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 17.5 (97.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
