1. There is no inclusion of innovative courses in the curriculum for the programme. 2. Practical works for the programme is inadequate as there is no work processing laboratory. 3. Internal quality assurance system is ineffective, as there is no evidence of minutes of meetings. 4. The proportion staff core to subject areas is inadequate for the programme. 5. Only 50% of academic and non-teaching staff benefitted from staff development programmes. 6. Equipment in the laboratory is inadequate, and there is no work processing laboratory for the programme. 7. Staff office accommodation is inadequate in space for the programme. 8. There is no active internet connectivity for the programme. 9. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. There should be at least four (4) or more innovative courses in the curriculum for the programme. 2. The University should ensure that there is work progressing laboratory for adequate practical works for the programme. 3. There should be effective internal quality assurance system with evidence of minute of meetings. 4. The University should ensure that the proportion of staff core to subject areas is adequate for the programme. 5. The University should ensure that all academic and non-academic staff benefit from staff development programme. 6. There should be adequate number of equipment and work processing in the laboratory for the programme. 7. The University should provide adequate space accommodation for staff offices for the programme. 8. The University should provide active internet connectivity for the programme. 9. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 76.42%. It scored 30 (81.08%) in Academic Matters, 24 (73%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
