1.No evidence of practicum by students.
2. The environment was not clean at the time of the visit.
3. None of the non-academic staff benefitted from staff development.

 

1. There is a need to encourage students to practicum as part of practical work in primary education.
2. There is a need to improve environmental sanitation.
3. There is a need to improve staff development for the non-academic staff.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.00%. It scored 33 (89.19%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
