Academic regulations is not well publicized, Students only have soft copies
Marking scheme is not properly developed, block marking was discovered in MMB 401
Administrative staff (clerical and office assistant) are not adequate in number
50% of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from staff development programme
Academic staff offices are not adequate in space
Some Fire extinguishers are expired and toilet facilities for students are not adequate in number
The internet connectivity is relatively slow

 

Academic regulations should be provided to students in soft and hard copies
Marking scheme should be properly developed and block marking should be avoided
Adequate administrative staff (clerical and office assistant) should be recruited for the progrmme
The University should ensure that all non-teaching staff benefit from staff development programme
The university should provide spacious staff offices for the programme
Updated fire extinguishers and adequate toilet facilities should be provided for the students
Fast internet connectivity should be provided for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 89.74%. It scored 29 (87.88%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (94%) in Staffing, 24 (89%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
