1. the curriculum for the programme is inadequate as some core courses like, STA 201 STA 202, MAT 241, are Omitted from the Curriculum. 2.inclusion of less than 3 innovative courses in the curriculum. 3. practical’s conducted do not cover the curriculum. 4. evaluation of skill Acquisition is of the average for both hard and soft skills relevant to the programme 5. 80% of the non- academic staff have not benefited from staff development in the past three years 6. Internal Quality assurance exist but not effective.

1. the University should ensure that the curriculum for the programme is adequately covered with the inclusion STA 201, STA 202 and MAT 241 to meet up with the BMAS and CCMAS requirement. 2. more innovative courses should be introduced for the programme. 3. the University should ensure that practical’s conducted should fully cover the curriculum adequately. 4. The University should make-sure that students are exposes to more hard & soft skills relevant to the programme. 5. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from staff development programme. 6. Internal quality assurance system be encourage, functional and effective.

The total score for the programme is 85.6%. It scored 37 (75.7%) in Academic Matters, 35 (95%) in Staffing, 27 (89%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (83.3%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.66%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
