1. There are no books in the library for the programme.
2. There are no e-library subscriptions, databases, or internet.
3. There are few equipment in the lab, a microscope and that was not working.
4. Funding is deeply inadequate for the programme.

 

1. The University should provide books in the library for the students on the programme.
2. The University should subscribe to databases and provide internet access.
3. Laboratory equipment should be provided for students, so they do not have to go to other Universities for practicals.
4. The programme should be better funded, the students should a basic knowledge of the programme due to lacking infrastructure.

 

The total score for the programme is 46.72%. It scored 26 (72.22%)  in Academic Matters, 16 (45%) in Staffing, 13 (48.15%) in Physical Facilities, 0 (0.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the total score of less than 60%, the Panel recommended  DENIED accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  DENIED accreditation status for the Programme
