1. Few cases of block marking.
2. Practical works conducted in radio and television production are not of good quality.
3. Some equipment in radio and television studios are outdated e.g (Mixer)
4. The space in the academic staff offices is slightly inadequate.
5. Most fire extinguishers have expired.
6.There are no light indicators at radio and television studio.

 

1. Block marking should be discouraged.
2. There is a need to improve the practical works of radio and television production.
3. There is a need for modern types of equipment in the radio and television studio.
4. There is a need for more space in the academic staff offices.
5. There is a need to procure new fire extinguishers.
6.There is a need for a light indicator at the radio and television studio.

The total score for the programme is 73.60%. It scored 30 (81.08%)  in Academic Matters, 25 (71.43%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
